The overall goal of the subject “Aeronautical Engineering” is to provide the graduate an educational background in the field of aeronautical engineering. The programs are broad-based and designed to provide a strong foundation and technical competence in multiple areas of aeronautical engineering practice as follows: aircraft maintenance; ground and flight operation; continuous airworthiness; scientific researches. Learning outcomes: Computational methods in engineering, Economics of air transport, Aircrafts automatic control systems, Computational aerodynamics, Electrical systems of aircrafts, Structural mechanics of aircraft structures, Theory of air traffic control, Mechanical vibrations, Satellite navigation systems, Systems engineering, Airports, Reliability in Aviation, Analysis of aircraft structures by finite element method, Communication and information systems in aviation, Foundation of aeroelasticity, Fracture mechanics, Accuracy and reliability in navigation, Fundamentals of experimental aerodynamics, Noise and vibration in aerospace engineering.

The graduates may be employed in areas, such as aircraft manufacturing, aircraft maintenance and repair, avionics maintenance and repair, air traffic control, airport services and research institutes.
